After losing his wife to a 16-year battle with cancer in 2015, Sam had lost hope of finding happiness again.
Finding herself divorced after 12 years, Bethany was starting to believe she was destined to be alone.
A mutual friend introduced them in 2018 believing, "They'll either kill each other or fall in love. Either way, it'll be fun to watch!"
They are both on their second story, making lemonade where life has handed them lemons. Or at least, handed them coffee beans. Coffee is also a second story, as both of them have other professional careers.
The question was asked, "Where can you find a good, local roaster?" Many friends answered, but the one that got us started was, "If you're feeling adventurous, you could always try roasting your own!" Sam bought a modest starter kit and the rest is history!
